IF this first day of 2017 is any indication of the rest of the year... THEN I will work hard and it will be painful.
I got entirely too much done for a day off. Un-decorating from Christmas while trying to engage my wonderful 92 year-old dad-in-law, cleaning, laundry, avian care, cooking meals. Whew. And then I burnt my hand on the grill twice. Just enough pain to remind me not to rush through theses special times. And also a reminder that I'm fairly ambidextrous so I could avoid sticking my burnt hand in the hot dish water.
It's going to be an interesting year.
